Yeah and no. When you look at the average per player, most of it is squad filter to replace outgoings. That headline number is misleading

Very much doubt he said sorry for what he said but more likely for how he said it

We have to move both these two on in the summer. VDV is a great player, but he can’t stay fit and Romero, well I’ve just about had enough of him.

I’d rather have 2 lesser CBs who can play 35 ish league games a season.

That decision to rush both back could ultimately cost Ange his job

It’s what’s wrong goes to show how bad dragusin is that Ange was willing to risk both those players straight away

I do think Ange will be gone in the next few weeks.

Some of it his own doing and some of it the usual nonsense from the owners

No good going on about spending money when you buy spence, dragusin, loan Werner, bergvall, gray, some Korean kid, some Ukrainian kid, Solomon, brian, perisic, odobert etc etc

Even vicario, udogie, van de ven were cheaper options whose inefficiencies have since been highlighted

To think of that squad Poch had, to go to this mess takes some serious calamity and neglect.

Romero was correct about the owners, Levy won't like that.
