Friday night, under the lights, here is your regular match thread.
Well, a battling display on Tuesday against a premier league team was a vast improvement but be cautious as there is no obvious magic wand to direct us to a solution which will make us feel really better, it's a case of wait and see for the game on Friday.
Team selection/formation/tactics will be crucial. A poor start and I can see the fans turning on Warne. A win would be helpful but disagree if you want, the tide of goodwill that team and manager once held is wilting - mainly from the oblivious to reality.
We need a goal scorer - see I worked that out. However we need a goal scorer who gets service and I don't know where the service is going to come from. Again we have good individual players but the clicking is still failing to click and we lack lustre.
Hope springs eternal but ..........anyway lets look to Friday and enjoy it.
