Whilst the report provides proof to the first class structure and health of the organisation, I have an issue to Ferran's quote:
“Winning the Treble in the previous season did not generate any sense of complacency in our teams on or off the pitch..."
Since winning the Treble, not only have we not strengthened with key acquisitions where players who Pep wholly relied on were playing far too much and getting older, we were also selling players like Mahrez and Laporte on the cheap without replacing them with the same quality. Pep's insistence in having a small squad is biting him in the backside right now.
Also, have a look at teams around the world and the PL where our academy products are currently thriving. Give them a chance! Look at Palmer and Harwood-Bellis. There were rumours that Balde and Yamal were City bound until Xavi blocked it. Good for them as Pep wouldn't have played them anyway.

£73m profit is great but I'd rather see it on the pitch in the form of new full backs rather than on a balance sheet.

Are these the doctored accounts?

City are in something of a decline at the moment. That much is clear. That said, in my opinion, this is nothing that can't be remedied in the Summer Transfer Window. Hopefully the money will be there to do that.

I would hope something could be done to relieve the situation on January 1st. We currently have no legs nor creativity in midfield which also impacts our defence when we lose possession.
Pep is able to use Lewis who currently and consistently gets floored when pressed, but is not able to give O'Reilly, McAtee, Wright, the same look-in and minutes.

We need to be doing business as soon as the window opens, we're hardly short of funds.
