Well, its been a strange old week to be a Wolves fan. Off the back of a battering from a relegation rival, the fanbase was pretty much unified in its opinion that too much blame for the disjointed and error strewn performances lay at the feet of the coach and although certainly not solely to blame, the squad would benefit from a more experienced, more tactically astute leader that would at least take steps to plug the holes at the back and improve our ppg and the frankly ridiculous goals against stats.

Cue leaked comments to the press, starting with O'Neil is our man, he'll remain in charge at West Ham. Where we were unable to take advantage of a hostile atmosphere and similar under pressure coach and team, competing but committing the same unprofessional errors and behaviour and seeing another precious opportunity to gain points fall through our hands.

Then official word from the top dog, Jeff in his now familiar rambling style reminding us how desperate things were pre-Fosun, how his decision making brought us fleeting minor glory, the importance of positivity and something about atoms. I can grasp that he is coming at things from a significantly different cultural perspective and that his messaging style does not always land as well as intended with the local fanbase. But all the same like the majority, the ignorance of the fact that we have failed to capitalise on the that minor glory and instead let clubs like Brighton, Brentford, Bournemouth and Fulham over take us, leaves me incredulous.

So here we are. Still desperate for points and focused on nothing more than finishing 17th. You do doubt however whether there are 3 worse sides than us right now, only Southampton look to be consistently so. But a win would lift us to 18th and a step in the right direction.

No new manager but a new captain, Mario Lemina has agreed to hand the armband over to Nelson Semedo after the post match shenanigans on Monday night. Jose Sa & Pablo Sarabia are still out. Bouba Traore is still a little short of re-join training soon. Another must win game, but one which it seems the coach will survive no matter what. Heart says 2-1, head says 2-2.

Sarabia will certainly go

Guedes at least looks like he wants to be here

Guedes has deserved more game time than he’s had. But I still think he pines for a return to Spain

Yeah when he's announced I'll tell you how I know. But he was drilling the players this afternoon

Intriguing. And fair play, some of them need a good drilling.

Think Guedes and Sarabia will be moving on in January. Maybe Sa too. But who knows whether things will change with the new manager

There are evidently also a number of clubs on the continent interested in signing Hwang in January

I'm sure Pereira will bring discipline back to the club, something GON had a hard time implementing recently.

As far as transfers out goes, Hwang would be the first on my list followed by Sarabia, whose contract is up in the summer. Better to get a few quid now, than nothing later.

I also hope the new coach has been promised money to bring in recognized defenders during the next window. Forget anymore midfield and forwards, of them we have enough.

Haven't seen any pictures from the training ground Tino. Are you sure about your info?

Is it too late for a challenge on a European place?

May be too late to escape relegation I fear. New m as anger has a task on his hands.

Cunha expected to learn his fate today following his charge from the Ipswich game.

GON evidently been approached by Millwall
