no excuse for us, played tues and didnt get out of 1st gear vs girona. we historically start poor as a team, the group a reknowned for it. no diff today 1 down down to 10 men.
Slots biggest task at the club imo.

Missing the 2 games in February (and being able to rotate in 1 or 2 January games) will be massive for whoever gets there imo.

Yeah don't think Liverpool would have had any problems winning the game, CL or not, only they went down to ten early in the game. With ten they still dominated the game, possession and chances.
So yeah, CL not an excuse. Silly challenge from our player was the reason for the draw. As well as another refereeing failure to send off an opposition player for a clear red card challenge. You could probably take your pick of two challenges in that first half, both coming before Robertson's sending off.
