Yes

Yes. We were poor yesterday.
Yes. We deserved a point in the end.
Yes. Bamford missed a sitter again.
Yes. MJ needs to find his scoring boots from somewhere.
Yes. DF needs to continue developing as a manager and tactician.

However, after 21 games we are at an average of 2 points per game. That’s autos territory if we can keep it up in the 2nd half of the season. I’ll take that now thank you. If we do achieve autos, it will be a tremendous achievement for all concerned. Yes DF. Yes Bamford. Yes MJ. Yes the rest of the squad, club and fans.

We’re in a great position in the league and still a very long way to go yet.

We're averaging 2 points per game and bar the Luton match, don't think we've hit top gear yet.

Think a lot is still to come from this team. My only concern is International breaks such as the one that affected the Welsh contingent last season.

The main issue when we play away is Piroe. He can't move and it is like playing with 10 men. It's such an obvious fault I'm not sure how farke doesn't see it.

Many slating Bamford for missing that chance but applauding Joseph for scoring with a similar chance when he didn’t even touch the ball. Weird but at least they both got into scoring positions - just they both didn’t actually score.

Someone rightly said we had a focus when Bamford came on and I agree. Others just love to hate the guy.

We weren’t that bad really. Silly goal to give away (I said the other day I thought we had stopped doing this to an extent) when we lost the ball in their area, Struijk failed to take one for the team and Meslier showed the weaker side of his game having got his hands to the ball.

We just have to stop giving this type of goal away when we are on top of teams.

Not the best results for us at other games but this will happen - it was the opposite in midweek really.

I think it’s between us and Sheff U for top spot. I have no reason to change my mind about Sunderland falling away and Burnley are dropping far too many points at home.

On to Oxford at home and another win in the bag!

Wilko - agreed, intl. break could be troublesome.
Enfield - think he does see it but can’t solve it atm.
Stoopo - I’m thinking 3-1 to us v Oxford👍.

I have some sympathy for Farke yesterday. It will get added to overall narrative of away games which I get but players just didn’t perform.

Even game first half, they have one shot and keeper palms it in. Second half, we miss a sitter and waste other chances. We actually played very well second half.

Next away game, it needs a rethink. Piroe and Aaronson away isn’t working

Stoopo, when I looked closely, I actually think both Joseph and Bamford got identical touches which incredibly were taking the ball wide of the far post; Matteo just got lucky that his touch deflects straight onto the foot of Whatmough and into the net.

I agree with you about these goals; all similar first half breakaway goals when one of the centre backs is too far forward.

At this juncture of the game it maybe worth this tempting these teams carry further forwards until they approach our own final third and then look to hit them on the break.

There’s definitely a worrying patter to all four games where a 1-0 defeat was the most likely result.Yesterday, we got lucky with our pressing finally paying offf.
