Djed Spence

From what I've seen he seems to be steadily maturing and I don't think you'll get many players in the league who are much of an improvement as a third choice FB that can cover both sides, outside of the top top clubs.

I think he has all the qualities to be great for us. Wish he'd get more of a chance and its a shame he missed out on the wuropa squad as I think he would have played more.

The guy is responsible for keeping our early season on track with that goal at Coventry. A loss there and we could have been staring at a worse season than we currently are.

Saliba took 3 years to debut for Arsenal.

Harry Kane was over 1,300 days from first contract to first PL start

Spence played damned well against Southampton.
Now its a matter of the Aussie manager being forced to choose him for Manu or Liverpool because he's out of options!
Those games will show us if he has improved as much as seemed in the Southampton game!
