I would be hard pressed to consider it a racial slur at all.

Had he said " those chinks all look the same"...well that is a racial slur.

So now the FA has to classify racial slurs by degrees....with appropriate penalties for each degree.

If he was to say 'they all look the same' about the Hemsworth brothers, would anyone have even picked up on it ?

The fact he was talking about sonnys immediate family seems to lessen the severity significantly in my eyes. That initial context was missing from the quotes that we had seen.

I just didn't see anything else than him being punished though, he was made a scapegoat.
