Has Tesla solved self driving?

There are many companies around the world trying to solve Self driving cars. Some like Waymo are already taking fares, and to many are one of the leaders in the race to automation.

But looking at the bigger picture, Tesla to me are set to dominate in this space. Their latest release is making a lot of people take notice, and one common word used by people using it in the videos I have seen, is the word WOW.

Wayve a British company started in 2017 ( and still going) started using neural nets to train their cars. Tesla seems to have taken this idea and ran with it, their huge resources and importantly data creating some impressive software.

It is still not ready. But Tesla is working to start some operations in Texas and California next year. But if you want to know how good FSD is getting? check out the link.

I think Elons accomplishments outside of politics will far outweigh anything he does in politics.

His legacy will be huge.

Like I said I hope you’re right as for that to be true, he’ll have had to have changed path to the one he’s on right now at some point in the future.

I don't think he really has any convictions or beliefs other than staying relevant or looking out for himself.

Brain absolutely fried from drugs and social media IMO

Yet his businesses go from strength to strength.

I don't really know about all of them but of the ones I know Tesla seem to be doing alright but they're getting a pretty bad reputation over here for quality, Twitter has been absolutely tanked, I think Dogecoin is doing well.

Well Space X is an obvious one, alongside Tesla, which is doing very well. As this video mentions autonomy is set to be huge as is the Tesla bot. Elon is also one of the biggest names in Ai, with Grok 3 set to set a new standard in ai intelligence. There are things like Neurolink, Boring company and others. But Elon has his finger in many pies, and they come together to make Elon and Tesla a force to be reckoned with.

What we are seeing now is just the tip of the iceberg.
