Got to say, Ange's Post match Interview after the game last night was quite disturbing! That weird smile and seemingly caring a little too much about what the lads in the studio said.
It felt a bit psychotic - almost like it had all got a bit too much for him and he's cracked!
I just can't understand also his lack instructions from the touchline. I'm totally with carragher and redknapp last night in that setting your stall our offensively is fine but adapt to what's happening I'm the game.
The replay of us being 3-2 down and in the 80th minute porro charging up the right side leaving a massive hole in behind for Garnacho to race into. He almost looked in disbelief!
I think they are right in that we'll win nothing without altering to the state of the game. He's like the complete opposite to Conte in that Conte over coaches from the touchline and stifled creativity. Ange on the other hands says and does nothing at all, even when instruction is clearly needed.
It's completely bonkers. I'm not sure I've seen anything quite like this before.

What happens when Ange wins the cup, do you still complain about his tactics?
Like someone has said, certain clubs / managers are given an easy ride for injuries, but Ange clearly hasn't because he is an easy target because of his tactics.
Forster is a great shot stopper, not a football keeper but Ange cant change his whole tactics, set up, team mentality, just for one keeper. Im sure this will be addressed next year!

It's amazing how much Ange is misunderstood and over analysed. I really do think it's something to do with him being an Aussie.
In his interview last night he was trying to focus on how proud he was of players for playing outstanding football despite our long list of injuries and the fatigue that some must be feeling, as he hasn't been able to rotate due to lack of numbers.
He also try to get across the fact that other "big teams" that lose just one player (City: Rodri / Arsenal: Odegard) get so much sympathetic media coverage, yet no one acknowledges the adversity that we're going through with something like 10 players unavailable.
He acknowledged that the two goalkeeping errors should not have happened, but he didn't want to hang Forster out to dry as we need him!
Without those Forster errors it would have been a similar result to the Southampton game last week. But hey ho, let's just focus on the negatives

“Without those Forster errors…”
Could equally say, “Without those Bayindir errors it would have been a similar result to the Chelsea game the week before.”
----------------------------------------------------------------------
How would it have been similar to the Chelsea match? United would only have scored once, but for Forster errors. Spurs still scored two quality goals. And would have won regardless.

Yeah.. Remove the errors and its an easy 2 nil win

We’re back in the Conte era, just the other side of the coin. Once again we have a split fan base in terms of wanting the manager in or out despite results. I remember us in 4th place and beating Palace 4-0 away with Kane scoring hat trick and people were moaning about Conte - we had loads of injuries as well that night, Gil played pretty much the whole game and Sarr was making one of his early appearances - I haven’t checked but we probably had Dire in defence that night.
This notion that Ange is getting harder ride (ooohhh err) than other Spurs managers is nonsense. Half our fan base hated Conte despite delivering CL football.
But we have swung completely the other way, we’ve gone from a pragmatic, safer and less entertaining style to a more entertaining but devil may care and at times naive style.
I want us to be successful - if Ange delivers a trophy I will revel in it and the pelters I will get on here, but I can’t help but think we won’t have success until we find a manager who falls in between these styles and gets that balance.

I have worked it out, Spurs would still have won regardless of the errors. Unless you watched a different match to the rest of us.

I think the point being made is other managers (not other Spurs managers) get far more understanding.
Spurs current injuries is like other teams missing:
VVD, Konate, Gomes, Allison, McAllister, Jota, Nunes
Saliba Gabriel White Raya Partey, Trossard, Jesus
Stones Dias Ake Ederson Kovacic Doku Savio
Cit's missing is as as ours or even worse and you can see how they have dropped off massively.
And with our injuries its not just a few games, its a few months, and that will hurt the squad who have to play a lot more minutes each.
People started hating Conte after he started acting like adick and completely unprofessional. In his first season he was good and it gave people a lot of hope but then he lost it, the football was poor, the results were poor and it was dull.
As for our fan base, unless we're smashing it its always split. But right now the vast majority are behind Ange.
By the time Conte left, most saw no future in him and wanted him gone.
It's only really the negative ones who after a 5 nil win or into a cup SF are still moaning and predicting gloom and highlighting all the negatives things.

Best and most entertaining manager/coach interview of the season imo....strange how we interpret things differently but I honestly thought like Sandy....flipping eck but yes I did as it came across as the most real natural and likeable version of Ange on display so far in his Spurs career.

Ange in. Three more windows.
Stay humble.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Haha - if he can be successful then I'm all for Ange in. But how can you win being so inconsistent !? We can't grind out a result or shut a game down, exactly what is needed to win a trophy, especially a final. Could you imagine being 1 up in stoppage time against arsenal and porro and udogie are on the edge of the arsenal box!
It's not good for your health! Lol
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yes, in that scenerio it could be suicidal but also rewarding if it comes off and it would stick the knife in.
