That performance today is a new low for this lot.
Most of these bums thankfully will not be part of Ruben Amorim's plans when he starts spending money to build his own team.
The likes of Zirkzee , Dalot ,, Martinez and many others are just not good enough.
And we have to start having a conversation about Mainoo too. Yes he's still a kid blah blah blah but he's a bit too frustrating and costly at times with some of his plays in midfield.
Back to back 3-0 losses to Bournemouth at OT is just unacceptable
Unacceptable

If I’m to take positives from today, it’s that we didn’t actual give many chances away and create plenty. It suggest the formation and style of play can be successful on the PL. I thought similar versus Forest too.

The players just aren't good enough mate. Take the price tag away and the shirts they play in. Bournemouth have a stronger best 11 than we do by far.
We need to stop scapegoating single players now and just face facts. The whole squad is awful and this new manager can't be blamed one bit for it. What a job he has on his hands though. If he turns us into a title chasing team within 3-4 years he deserves to be knighted. 😂

I’ve just read this is the first time we’re finishing at the bottom half of the table at Christmas since 1989. This is the lowest I’ve ever felt as a United supporter. It’s just an accumulation of decay and bad decision making that stretches back over 11 years. It’s so so bad.

I agree, I don’t think it needs to take 4 years though. A couple of good summer windows and we can solve a lot of our issues.
A goalscorer would paper over a lot of the cracks results wise.

Wasn’t that why you spent so much on Hojlund

We've been papering over the cracks for the best part of ten years.
Granted it was with sheets of Andrex but it really isn't the solution.

Mainoo a generational talent not so long ago , what’s happened
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Was overated from the start. He’s a composed, mature for his years lad who’s got some ability, but he was overhyped massively. Some of us feared that would affect him when it started, and it’s looking that way. Would love to see him capture some of the form from last season.

Only relegation for me could cost him his job. Anything better than that will have to do for this season as grim as that sounds. He's inherited an absolute shambles from inept owners, inept new operators and a crap previous manager.
I don't envy him. He will be grey haired by July at this rate. 😂

It's almost like replacing ETH when they should have done it and buying players for the manager's new system was probably the way to go all along......
Who'd have thought eh? Oh that would be me.
INEOS have somehow come into a mess of a club and amazingly managed to make it worse. Absolutely pathetic 'leadership'.
Feel for Ruben. I said he was going to need to pull rabbits out of hats to turn us around but I think that might not be going for enough. We need some genuine Houdini / Copperfield magic now.
Merry Christmas reds ðŸ˜
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I did say at the time that INEOS were obsessed with trying to present an image of being calm and considered and that was the only reason ETH kept his job. They were more worried about outside perception than actually making sure we had the right man in place going into the season and have admitted as much. Just makes them look like dithering idiots
