There needs to be a big one at this club. And it needs to start as soon as next week when the transfer window opens.
The overwhelming majority of these players cannot come back again for the start of next season , begining with the worst captain in the club's history Bruno Fernandes.
The manager needs a completely new group of players to work with in preseason on whom he will impose his style of play and tactics.
Far too many of the current squad are just not good enough for Manchester United , many of them have overstayed their welcome at the club and some of them are just simply stealing a living as professional footballers.
If these INEOS characters don't want to become Glazers 2.0 with United fans , then they have to act ruthlessly to fix this team over the next few months.
I don't want hear about the players' wages blah blah blah ... Sort it out! Ship them out of here! You wanted this job yeah? Well , do your job then!
This ain't no cycling anymore , Jimmy , yeah? This is football!
At this point , I personally would only keep Amad , Mazraoui , Ugarte and Yoro ( and reluctantly Mainoo ) ... ALL THE REST CAN LEAVE!
It is not at all an exaggeration to say that we could be more likely than not in a relegation battle this season the way things are going.
And in itself is absolutely unacceptable for a club like Manchester United.
Rant over.
Complete clear out

There has to be huge changes. I’d keep Bruno but take the captaincy off him. He’d have less pressure on him then and stats do show that he’s world class.
Get rid of:
Lisandro
Onana
Dalot
De Ligt
Hojlund
Mainoo
Garnacho
Rashford (he’s gone anyway)
Eriksen
Casemiro
Shaw
Lindelof
None are good enough.

Are you essentially saying that he's a chequebook manager then, who cannot work with and improve what he has got? Can you give examples of other clubs and managers who have sold a whole squad and got a new one in, in a January or even summer window?
If he is finding that it's difficult to impose his rigid one style that he has as a manager, on this group of players that he can't change quickly, then it's him that needs to change.
Seems odd that no one gives him any criticism for only being able to play one system and style.

About 16/17 players need to go and we will be lucky to get rid of 10 of them over January and summer.
Next season will be more of the same. Pain and misery. A decade of mistakes can't be undone in 6 months sadly.

Sadly the reality is a big clear out won’t be possible as many would generate small fees and we don’t have the spending available to pay the fees needed to completely change the team all at once.
A couple of players in & out each window is more likely and perhaps trying the youth lads also.

The mismanagement of this club is something that needs to be studied so that others can learn how not to run a football club.
We're in this current predicament due to absolute dog$hit recruitment for a decade and handing out stupid contracts to players that should have been shipped out a long time ago and purchasing players not good enough at inflated prices and giving them huge salaries, and then neglecting the infrastructure and technology that's now also well out dated whilst others have pulled well ahead.
