Highlandwhite Matchday Thread ================================================
Kick off Sunday 5.45pm. Live on Sky Sports
Welcome to matchday 24, yet another live game at a time to suit Sky.
Team News
Leeds
Wober doubtful,. Struijk or Schmidt could fill in at full back if Byram is rested. Otherwise everyone else fit and available after the Stoke win.
Derby
Osborn and Thompson face late fitness tests. Missing Cashin, Ozho, and Nyambe.
Derby had a fine win against West Brom, their 2nd win in 6 games, are sitting in 14th place, 10 points off a play-off spot. Their manager is very confident of a victory.
We are improving week by week and there is a great calmness and quiet confidence within the squad. Maybe expect a couple of changes to freshen up the starting XI.
Going for a hard fought 2.1 victory, don't know who will score though. Could be any outfield player.

Strong performance yesterday. But hopefully we will soon get to see Amps Rothwell and Tanaka lining up together. Amps playing the Phillips role and Tanaka Rothwell pulling the strings. Have to get Tanaka on the ball more.

A fair result from a Derby fan. Leeds are the best footballing team in the division by a distance for me though Sheff United are more of a machine and I expect to go up with you. I thought we gave you as good a game as we could but we just don't possess the same calibre of players in attacking positions. We are missing a few players but I don't think that would have made any difference.
To be honest I am relieved we have been as competitive as we have so far this season. We are still on a shoestring budget but we are slowly rebuilding on and off the pitch. I think both clubs are moving in the right direction though clearly Leeds are at least 2 or 3 years ahead of where we hope to get to.

Can argue with vidals take on things.
I have to take issue with the view for away fans at ER who (like me), were unfortunate to get tickets on the front row of the upper tier. I had a better view of the pitch at Oakwell and still have the crick in my neck.

Good to see the respect between both sets of supporters.
We've both been through very difficult times over the last lot of years and whilst we seem to be in a good place at present things can change very quickly.
I think its criminal that small clubs like Bournemouth and Fulham can attract extremely wealthy backers whilst big clubs like yourselves, Sheffield Wednesday etc struggle for investment.
Derby are going the right way and hopefully in a couple of seasons we will meet in the Premier league.
Good luck for the rest of the season.

Its definitely a problem and there are seats in the home ends with same issues
Plans are well in advance for an upgrade to the stadium and an increase in capacity to 53,000.

If those backers are from overseas it not difficult to see why. Try getting a direct flight to anywhere significant from anywhere in the UK but Heathrow or Gatwick.
