I know a lot has been already been made of Ian Ayre's comments to the Guardian this morning, but I just came across a ready good article on Yahoo about the situation -
http://uk.eurosport.yahoo.com/football/early-doors/article/351823/
The paragraph to me that sums up the whole situation reads -
"Liverpool's motive is greed, pure and simple, and removing collective bargaining would have a damaging impact on the national game as we know it. Indeed, if it reduces the competitiveness of the league even further - and we are already in a situation where only a few clubs can win the thing - then long-term it may render the Premier League unattractive as a product."
Any thoughts on the article?
P.S Unfortunatly i cant post this on the Liverpool board due to a restraining order, however I'm sure the LFC residents of the Utd and Chelsea boards will contribute as always.
Greedy Liverpool ready to walk alone

You should check some other clubs transfer activity in the time you are referring to

No need.I was extremely careful in my wording.I never said you spent more on players
Do you think it would be fair to say that as you exist because the rent wasn't paid that you are the original rent boys?

I think if this is the level of intellect I'm going to have to deal with I'll leave this thread alone.
Vidicschin (U3584) was the only good poster on this thread anyway.

What in your opinion would constitute moral high ground?
---------------
Interesting how you only take a section of what I said earlier. If you include the whole post you'll know exactly what question I'm asking. My original question was, if somehow 14 clubs agreed to it, will Chelsea take the moral high ground i.e would you still want an equal collective payment that benefits everybody as you have stated today, or would you try to get as much money as possible? It's a fairly simple question. Next time don't just cut and paste part of the question, read the whole thing and you'll understand exactly what I mean. Save both of our time

Unless I know what you are calling the 'moral high ground' I can not answer your question.Your 'moral high ground' and mine will differ and as you are the one asking the question it is yours that I need to know to be able to answer.
It's not difficult to understand but you do seem to be having a problem with it.

Mate are you just being obtuse because you don't know how to answer the question without being a hypocrite. We know your answer. It's fine.
