Hopefully by the end of January, we should have a better idea of how realistic our hopes of promotion really are. Sheffield Utd and Burnley both have some very awkward fixtures on paper in January.
The away games at Burnley and then Sheffield Utd surely demands us to take away at least a point from those games to ensure we are firmly in the driving seat, to does anyone see another team joining the party at this stage?
Personally, I am hoping we can build up a 6 or 7 points buffer over 2nd place by the end of January and a 8 or 9 point buffer to third by the end of February.
That’s just me. How do the rest of you feel about that possibility being realistic ?
By the end of January…

90 points almost a cert for Autos.
Put in context that is 22 games left giving 66 points available. 51 already in the bag, we have to get 39 maybe less. Can't see this squad not attaining at least 39 from 66 - if we drop off that badly something is seriously wrong.

As LIW states anything but top is failure
Recruitment team have done a fantastic job.
Should win this league by 10 points plus
Should already be a bigger gap between us and our rivals

I think we need to aim for a gap of 10 points between us and third place by mid-Feb - that’ll give me confidence.
But remember March to April onwards we couldn’t buy a win after that amazing run. You just don’t know in this league. I’ll take autos - first or second !

I think it will be a very tight race between Leeds, Burnley and SheffU.
Don't think any of them will be able to get a gap of 5 or more points at any time.
