Ward was woeful, but only played once didn't he?

Fullkrug a good shout. For someone who scored in the CL final 6 months ago and represented Germany in the Euros, needing 58 year old Antonio to wrap himself round a tree to get game time and still get dropped is some going.

Ugarde hasn't been great but at least he's had a couple of good games. Casemiro has been awful.

Not saying much, but Ugarte has been one of our best players since he’s had a run of games.

Zirkzee has been the real disaster, followed by Martinez, Casemiro, Rashford and Garnacho since Amorim has come in, and, every other week, Onana.

Fair point on Ward. Maybe McCarthy instead then? Not his fault that he was asked to play out from the back by his manager but he was responsible for a fair few of Southampton's goals alone.

Foden has got to be in the team for me taking expectations into account. Without Rodri and Kevin suddenly he looks very ordinary playmaking wise (started in the summer already, but England is always rough as midfielder).

Likewise the senior players at Utd like Onana, Bruno, Casemiro and Rashford are simply not worthy of the shirt if you put performances like that and basically failing the youngsters who cant do better under those conditions..

Yeah it's really not saying much. The Moroccan guy however has actually looked good in a poor team. Ugarte has been poor in some games, good in others. Thought he was really good against City. But yeah difficult to judge considering the team performances, which obviously these players contribute towards.

Foden has definitely been underwhelming, and Grealish has been very poor too. Matheus Nunes has looked way behind the quality needed whenever I have seen him and Rico Lewis has arguably been exposed for his limitations too.

Onana was getting a lot of plaudits in the ten Hag months of the season, looks to have quickly fallen off though - maybe he knows Amorim wants his own man in nets. Bruno, 3 reds (albeit one ridiculous and overturned) at least looks like he tries some of the time.

Fullkrug did play in the CL final but he didn’t score, DJ. Dortmund lost 2-0.

I don't recognise referee/lino interventions.

Dalot and Garnacho are contenders. Surprised some included Ugarte. He’s actually been decent.

Garnacho had a good start to the season though. Ugarte has been poor in some and good in others but mostly average. Although he has an excuse, first season in an extremely disjointed team. I think he'll come good. Also think Hojland will come good. Still can't understand why you sold Mctominay and why many fans were against him. He always looked a good player to me who tried his heart out, unlike many others in the team.
