Highlandwhite Matchday Thread ================================================
Kick off 3pm. Live on Sky Sports
Welcome to 2025, matchday 25, in a sequence of 4 games in 10 days
Team News
Leeds
Still missing Gruev, Firpo and Wober although the latter is set for a return to the squad
Blackburn
With a few key players already out they will be missing Lewis Travis and Harry Pickering, both injured in their defeat by Millwall.
Blackburn after a fine run have picked up just one point in the last three games. This is our chance to avenge for what was arguably our worst performance of the season and against a team who perfected the dark arts of cynical fouling and time wasting.
We've surely got this one due to our rotating squad depth. Going for a 3.1 victory, Piroe to hit double figures for the season.
Over to the best supporters on 606 with your score predictions and
line ups
Can we go Live once again please Admin and a Happy New year.

I listened to Merson after the game and I thought he was spot on about how we didn't do enough today to deserve the win and that against teams that set up like Blackburn we struggle and need a different approach in getting the vall into the box quicker....we're too slow at times and as for taking Solomon off that was a real head scratcher but we are still in a good position and with Burnley dropping points, no damage done and I fancy they'll struggle like we did today against Blackburn in a few days time.

Mattyp you come across as a very nasty individual, I understand you're a teacher, I knew standards have dropped but jesus that's scraping the barrel
----------------------------------------------------------------------
The fact that I'm a teacher is in no way impacted by the fact that I think you are a total tool.
And again, the fact that you think I'd speak to students like I speak to you is yet another sign of your inability to comprehend anything outside of what is happening at any given moment.

Just got home from the match. A bore fest and the ref has to take blame for that.
Their goal was soft. We fell asleep at left back and at the corner we could see their huge number 9 at the back post being marked by Gnonto. Training ground goal from them. Too easy!
Still top though and Sunderland can do us a favour tonight. Stoke have done us a couple since we beat them.
Time for a beer.

Sunderland beat ShefU, that's not allowed in the real world, I wonder who's to blame for that!..
Leeds United the form team as it stands, first in the division but have got according to some around the Leeds board the yellow fever!..
But I must admit, it is funny when the same old same appear giving it the good old "I say its not good enough" tune!..
I wonder what they'll think when others turn up at the seasons end and say!..
We Told You So!..
Only a thought, but hopefully it doesn't backfire!.
If a few backed the team as much as they bring it down it just might put a little more belief in its tank!..

Doubt anyone within the club - especially the players -
are reading anything written here on ja606. So no
chance any posters are having any negative affect.

That’s the best summary, Macca.
No damage done.

Batty, if you don't think players look out of interest what people are saying about them than I don't think like you do, players will look on these boards but will not be allowed to post on them!..
But I'd think one or two do have false names and have a word or two to say, so I'm wondering who Lowfields plays for!..
They'll more than likely even have family or friends that point a thing or two out to them!..

God the comments are predictable.
