The State Of This Terrible League

Can’t help but find it amusing how bad the EPL is this year.

For example:

Only one of the top 6 teams in the league won a game this weekend ✅

The apparent ‘best team in the world/league’ were bullied and outplayed at home by the team in 13th and needed a ridiculous VAR penalty to salvage a draw ✅

Defenders are now allowed to win headers in their own box and concede penalties for it, robbing Arsenal of crucial points in the title race ✅

In second place is a team that have an average EPL finishing position of 16th ✅

Refereeing is at an all time low ✅

VAR is at an all time low ✅

There are more problems with this league, than there are with a manual transmission car without a clutch

Really poor standard this year.

Buzzing today. Feels like a victory rather than a draw.

We could've just cost them the title too, because in 10 days their 6 point lead will be gone.

Forest away- Liverpool lose

Well if they lose to Forest and Brentford, then it will be them 2 that have really cost them............

I can't see Liverpool going completely off the rails and I'm not convinced any of the teams below them will put a sustainable run together to overtake them. The media will cling onto anything to try and make it feel as close as possible, but it's been others rather than Liverpool who have been dropping points on a more regular basis.
It pains me to say it, but the title is going to Anfield
