It's with a heavy heart that mans gots to inform ja606 of the latest pipe smokers. My boy at the Pipe Committee done sent me the updated list as of 2nd Oct 2011. It's sad to see some of our Merlin classics have now succumbered to the lure of the pipe.

On a more positive note Phil Charnock done made that transition from the pipe back to mean green. I've got John Miles in rehab right now but dude's proving tough nah mean? Had mans using strange techniques such as 'The Plank' and 'Swob-Hobbing'. So far though John done stayed resistant and aint finna be switching from the pipe back to mean green. Sad times.

I'm very much interested in the area of drug rehab, but I'm unfamiliar with the term "swob-Hobbing".
Some more information as regards SH would be much appreciated stig. Does swob hobbing involve a biscuit of some kind? If so, is this interevetion ethical...or even legal?

Does anyone remember the "What if Peter Fear was...?" strip that used to run in Match magazine?
I don't ever remember one that said "What if Peter Fear was a pipe fiend?"
Would have broken my heart.

I don't know where you get your information from Stig, my sources only list C.S. Lewis (what, a world inside a wardrobe? With talking lions? Definitely on the pipe.), Bertrand Russell and Hugh Hefner, to name a few:
