Unlike some individuals, I think there is plenty of cricket going on at the moment and worth talking about. Yesterday, on what was clearly a batsmans paradise, Scott Borthwick only went and took no less than 5 - 31 which is a tremendous effort.
The following questions arise from this. Do we stick him straight into the first team on Friday?
Will him, Bopara and Swann, together with 2 seasoned pros be the answer to us bowling at our optimum level during this series?

I am getting close to doing that too. He is a nightmare hopefor. And if somebody as patient and as nice as you filters somebody, then that in itself speaks volumes. I will give him time to calm down, and then if that fails, I will put him in the bin too, next to Pox

I'm confident of a decent showing for our lads but India must be seen as home town favourites. However they will need a comprehensive series win to compensate for their failure in England and I don't believe that will happen.

Do we know who will be doing most of their bowling? They will be using different players to the ones they brought to England?
Our 2 warm up games have shown us we can bat, and bowl over there, and I know our boys are primed and ready. A good battle never hurt anybody?

RP Singh, Praveen Kumar and Ishant are in the squad but India like to have a strong batting line up so Yuvrag will there also.

I hope so Neon, everybody I know is hoping for a cracking series of cricket. It's the drama of sport that keeps us glued to matches like this?

Can't believe there are no test matches
