Reading the papers this morning, stumbled across numerous rumours involving us. These are:
We are going to make an improved offer for Cameron Jerome after having an initial bid of 5 million rejected.
Chelsea want 20 million for Sturridge.
Arsenal have offered 16 million plus Ignasi Miquel on a season long loan (I've never heard of him either) for Gary Cahill
We are going to sign Rodrigo for 4 million from Benfica.
Darren Pratley will sign for us tomorrow.
Thiago Alcantara has been told he can leave Barcelona, and apparently Coyle has already held talks.

If we get this Thiago from barca and Sturridge on loan, wow!! I will be extremely happy. Dont want Rodrigo or the guy from Celtic, not sure why Pratley would want to leave a guarenteed first team place in the premiership to warm our bench either, if he even made the bench.
To the celtic fan above, contracts are not worth as much as you think my good man.

I don't think anyone is arguing you can get out of your contract by complaining about your wages, not even The Bolton News, which that was quoted from, is saying that. It IS true to say that clubs are less inclined to fight to keep unhappy players though - history tells us that.
Regarding the other news - I hope we don't spend £4m on Rodrigo. I thought he was very poor last season.

A little bit crazy then, given a 12 month opportunity... That we don't play him in his best position, then bid £4m to sign him... Hoping he plays well in the position, we didn't play him...

Big fat no to Rodrigo, agree with MT there.
He was nowhere near good enough last season and only did 2 good things: A good cross for Klasnic against Sunderland which he scored from, and a nicely taken goal vs Wolves.
We don't have 4 million.
I fully believe the Thiago Alcantra and Pratley rumours though
