How long does it take to get a new manager?

Nobody wanted to be Leeds Utd Chairman so thats why you got Bates(allegedly) according to the afore said Mr Bates as honest and truthful a gentleman as you could find(allegedly)

It's not long but the lack of any real information leads to us having to rely on journalists(reliable sources ie the cleaners cats boyfriends uncles owner's friend who once sat next to one of the clubs secretaries on a bus) for details? of who has been interviewed. Just a denial of statements in various rags that the job has been offered to one person in particular would be helpful.
Before someone says CS has done that his comment paraphrased was 'we haven't offered the job to anyone yet'
