Im not complaining about this one a 1/3 goal record in the league above so far this season. Seems a bit of a coup.

Are 2 goals better value than us getting a settled team?

I tend to agree with RG on this one...not a fan of having loan players in unless in emergency, particularly given the size of our squad. We need a settled side to take us through the rest of the season. Loan players confuse the issue and make this less likely.

I think Di Canio has found the core of his team. Our team looked settled when Ward came two seasons ago and he helped pushed us on fowards to the playoffs that season. Im not saying this guy is another Ward but he could be a very strong player. I must admit the size of the squad is ridiculous. Is that our 5th winger now? and if he plays as a striker than thats 7? But im happy if we can get as good players as possible in all position and this person seems like he could be very good player.

Also happy we seemed to loan a Goalkeeper aswell hopefully he's a chatty one, don't like goalkeepers who don't talk.

In short I'm glad if we bring quality in but just another squad player is going to be of no help whatsoever. I know it's not that easy but maybe right now we need to find a settled squad and stick with it as I do think we have enough quality players but some of them aren't getting a fair chance, Connell being a very good example. I think Paolo if possible should try and get 6/7 players fixed up with loan deals to let them get regular games and then concentrate on the others who have a realistic chance of getting into the match day squad.

I don't really understand the loan system. If we take a player on a month's loan, is there a commitment to play him?
Also, if we send players out, can we call them back at short notice if needed?
How do these deals work?

Notts County fans predicted he would score goals for us but i wasn't expecting any from him today but long may he continue !

How long? One month? Then we have to start again.
If this guy is the business, we should have signed him at the start.

Know what you mean about the starting again, if he does really well and scores a few more it could work both ways in that West ham could acknowledge that he is at the right club and let us keep him longer or they have him back after the month having hit some goal scoring form. Would like to think they will extend the loan period even maybe for the season with clauses and he continues to help us climb the table.
