Hughton wants the job

Unfortunately it aint up to him, but yeah out off whats been touted so far I would like to see him or matteo as the new man . Both play decent football and both know the division. Just a bit worried that whoever gets the job may not be for footballing reasons, but financial.

As an outsider can I just say this, AM has apparently had all his targets obtained by your board. Could it be there is an underlying problem?
He's either had his head turned by an offer from elsewhere? or is there a problem between him and your board or with finances?
If it's the first, you are better off without him, if it's the latter you need to find out what the problem(s) is (are)!

I've just put Sky Sports News on and it said that Steve Cotterill and Billy Davies are the joint 2-1 favourites.
I now have a smashed window and my TV is on the lawn.

Very confused when I read that at first; I thought 'surely Stephen Carr isn't in the frame'...
...Hang on, Yeung might have offered him an extra tenner a week.

I agree that from the names in the frame either di matteo or hughton would be the better decision for blues. I would welcome the style of football they both like to play at st. andrews. Lets wait and see though.

What happened to Curbishley,I thought he was favourite?

Hughton knows the championship and so does Di Matteo, either is a good call. Curbishley di very well with Charlton albeit for a long time with Steve Gritt as a double act. Any of these in my opinion and as they are not contracted to other clubs then they could come in quickly which is essential if players are to be brought in and have time to meld a team.
