My first article here!! WooHoo!
Anyway, is it just me who thinks it's odd how some Welsh players and WQ player (Tito) whispered for a Wales callup (Why??) are included in the BaaBaas squad?
There will likely be many Wales players on display that day. I grant that the BaaBaas Welsh are outside contenders for World Cup squad slots.
However, with the English clubs not releasing Peel for Wales but allowing it for the RFU, doesn't it seem a little odd how it's all happened?
Is it not strange to have so many WQ players in the BaaBaas? Has it turned out better for Gatland?
In short, could the whole thing have been pre-planned??
Wales v Barbarians - Odd??

first article first welsh conspiracy - coincidence? I THINK NOT
either way I am very much looking forward to seeing Peel go up against whoever is picked for Wales - I just hope there is some scrum parity to allow close examiniation

A bit of contraversy pulls the punters in Cottage ;o)
Personally, as it has come to pass, i'm pleased that there are many Welsh on display for the match.
I like BaaBaas rugby and all it stands for.
Isn't Dai Young coaching them this time.... another Welshie!!

All Change!
"Dwayne Peel is out of the Barbarians' side to face Wales on 4 June in Cardiff due to a row over availability.
Sale's Peel has been named in the Baa-baas squad, but Premiership Rugby say no players from England's top 12 clubs are allowed to do so.
A statement read: "Premiership Rugby has no agreement with the Barbarians and no players will be released to play for the Barbarians [on 4 June]."
Sale confirmed Peel is unavailable to the Barbarians."

Yes it is interesting the amount of Welsh BaBas this time around! should be a great spectacle! I am particularly looking forward to the battle between the old veteran Martyn Williams and in my opinion one of the brightest young 7s in the game Sam Warburton!

I agree Captain, I wonder if MW has had his last game for Wales.

I think Martyn can still do a good job for us and would be good to have in the squad for the RWC, his experience and general presence would benefit the boys. It is fair to say his time as our first choice 7 is definitely over though. I also think Sam Warburton will have a great tournament this Autumn!
