What areas are dominated by Spurs fans?

Was having a discussion with some of the lads down the boozer the other night. We were basically just saying that wherever we go around Hertfordshire or Essex is just full of Spurs fans.

Just got me thinking, where are you from and is it mostly Spurs fans where you live? Are there a lot of Gooners and Spammers to laugh at down your ends?

Discuss.

Chelmsford is dominated by Spurs fans, we've got a club shop there too

I'm from Kent (just outside the M25) and Bubbles talks nonsense - people here support any of the major teams (all the fans I know for life). Lots of Liverpool, Man Utd, Arsenal and Spurs around here. Not so much the johnny-come-latelys such as Chelsea and Man City (at least, never see kids in the shirts yet). Few Palace fans, few (original) Wimbledon. That's about it.

I'm sure north-east Kent you have more Spammers. And inside the M25 towards Greater London (i.e. southeast London) more Arsenal. But the Kent = Arsenal myth is just that (thank God).

I also live in Witton, which is just a few yards from Villa Park as most will know. I'd say pub turnout for the games in this order.

1) Arsenal

2) Chelsea/Spurs.

There is quite a few Chelsea here. I refuse to go their when we play United though, packed with gloryhunters and you can barely stand let alone sit.

Last time I was there, one United fan had to tell another that they had won the treble in 99

It's a lot more local than saying x county is this and y county is that. When the London slums were cleared post WW 2 entire streets were moved as one. So you could have got say 3000 Hammers from Bow moved to Rise Park and 4000 Spurs fan from Tottenham moved to Harald Hill. So if you think Romford is Spurs or West Ham can be dependent on which side of the town you know better.

Further confirmation Tottenham don't have the support that some have claimed previously

It sounds like Tottenham have a few key areas where the support is generated from but once you start going a bit further field Tottenham don't have the national support that a number of other clubs do

The next home Europa league attendance for Tottenham will tell us a lot

So I would expect to see much more Spanners support in places like Harlow etc (where much of the East End were cleared out to post WW2) .

Exactly, you also get some strange places nationwide. I've got a mate from Flitwick in Bedfordshire, he (and half the town/village) is a huge Sunderland fan. Loads of families moved south when there was still mines in the area.
