This is not for the footy fans, more for whoever runs the site. Some may know me better if I use my usual name of cyprussyd from a rival forum.
Make of this post what you want but its meant to be helpful and can I say good luck with your new venture.
Over the past few days some of your more enthusiastic users have been working hard at spamming our sight, in the end we left them to do it because it became very obvious that they were doing your site more harm than ours, the same will happen with the proposed PM attack.
The truth is some users will prefer your site and the tighter moderation, some will prefer ours or one of the others set up. Some will move from one to the other.
Your member list is growing but its not the member list that counts, ours i well over 8,000 but the active list, the one that counts, is just over 3,000. You have me on your list but I will be sticking to our forum so my membership is worthless.
You may decide this post is me being scared and trying to put you off attacking us, I promise its not because every attack gets some more of our members backs up, we all ready have some talking about fighting back by signing up and wumming, what good will that do any of us.
Its over to you boys, enjoy your forum.

I joined not606 briefly when I was trying to find a new football chat home after 606 closes. I've had to turn the swear filter on because some of it was so bad and didn't want it coming up on my work PC. I think I much prefer this one thanks

Would it not be easier to just drop the filthy language. It's really not necessary all the time. I'm on another fairly unmoderated forum (since Goonz got banned from work) and we all manage to chat to each other normally without descending into complete and utter filth in every other post.

I just signed up a few minutes ago, my first reading was a 'Big Chris' article, and now an article from a v.i.p. ( his assertion ) from a rival site calling us all monkeys !
