......who'd have thought it after last seasons away days? I wasn't at the game but it seems from reports that we deserved the win. Great to see Wilf on the scoresheet again, the boys' having a good season and is maturing slowly. Equally, well done Easter and the rest of the players.
I thought that Doogs appointment was maybe 'sentiment over reality' but it's looking like Dougie is better than i thought, much better. Keep on proving me wrong! Well done Dougie, keep it up bud.
3 more points away......

If we are 1 up at half time then a draw otherwise 2-0

It is about time we got a big result! The only big result that springs to mind is 5-0 a few years back and can't think who that was against?!

1-0 will do me quite nicely.

Have just seen that James is in goal. Whilst I thought he was crepe for England, I always thought he was a good club keeper so I will revise my prediction down to a comfortable 2-0 with him playing a blinder.
TUX- I get your drift

Hey Peeps, I echo Tic Tux's thoughts.
Not that i believe he'd leave us (for someone else, but) I'd like to see 'The Doug' on a long term deal, something we should had done with Sir Steve Coppell.
Thoughts on tonights result; I thought the David James chant was harsh, but funny 'you let you're Country down'.
Felt like we were playing Watford again, not just cos of the yellow shirts Brizzle wore, but they wasn't in the game, had a few chances, but that's just it.
Glad All Over Clyne is back! And Zaha & Scannell are both doing well. But, as we know the better these kids play, the concern comes when the window opens. Anyhow, thought Our Super-Sub would come on...Easter, but guess he's being saved for Ippo! Anyhow on here going to Portman Rd? Could meet-up?? usernames to faces.
Any news, on Ramage, Ambrose & Scannell? All went off injured, nothing serious I hope!
Up The PALACE!

I thought the first half was good but the finishing was poor. The second half was pretty slow and we deserved to win so 1-0 was fair enough. What did people think of the penalty? I sit near the front of Block E and saw it pretty clearly and reckon Williams would have got to the ball so therefore...penalty.
I was waiting for Easter to come on. Especially 10 minutes to go and its 0-0. Much better having Clyne back but thought he should have switched to right back when Parr came on.
I think Ramage might be injured but then the others seemed to just walk off rather than sit on the bench?

I was there last night. I was expecting a better performance against the bottom team but oh well.
Zaha produced most of the excitement in both halves. Murray worked hard as usual. Scannell has had better games. I thought we were lucky to get 3pts tbh.
The penalty.....................i'm willing to be proved wrong (with the aid of a replay) but at the time i thought we got lucky. I thought the City player made minimal/if any contact with Williams......................Not that i'm moaning

I think they call that karma, after Freddie Sears disallowed goal.
