It seems to be the theme of the day for the (non) supporters on here who call themselves fans. I fully understand the need to get it off your chest but Theo is not that bad. He is not rated so important by Wenger, Cappello and Messi (who im sure you remember saying he was the player Barca feared) because he does not add anything to the team.

Could anyone really see Walcott as a pro with no pace?

Well said OP......they say Walcott has no football brain...I disagree its these wally's on here who have no footballing brain

i don't understand how you can analyise his performances for the full 90 minutes, and say that one of his strengths is his football brain. it's quite clearly his weakness.

I am an Arsenal supporter of longstanding and I say he is useless.
He is as far as I am concerned brain dead and his contribution to most games whether for us or England
does not merit a place in the team or the over inflated wages that he is paid.
Frankly if a decent offer was made for him I would offload him in a flash. Oxlade-Chamberlain at 18 is better than him already and the money could be invested in someone who is likely to work harder for
the team.

I agree with the OP. Why can't our fans enjoy a win without having to have a go at someone. You can't just pick the player who didn't have a great game , and say we should sell them.... we'd run out of players by christmas

I hate when people dub you as plastic for criticising a player you don't like. Just because you don't understand the criticism op, doesn't make us plastic.
I've been saying it for almost as long as he's been here that Walcott is not good enough. His is a mental problem. His brain goes awol when he's on the ball, and nine times out of ten he'll make the wrong decision. The misplaced cross, the scuffed shot, the under or overhit pass. Frankly, he's an idiot. Which amazes me because in his interviews he comes across as well spoken and intelligent enough, but that's no use if he turns into a hare every time he's in possession.

Asking 'would Walcott be a good player without pace' is stupid. Lets take away key attributes from all players and then go 'oh look they're not very good'.

He's not that good either...
If someone offered 20 million for little theo (I don't believe anybody has or will) we should definitely sell.

Shows how low we have sunk as a great footballing dynasty when fans can actually be so confident to claim that walcott has a footballing brain.
Really it always baffles me why he's so scared to take on players when he's clearly faster than them.
