Pugh better than gradel?

Discuss? I know they're completely different types of player, and Pugh won't get 15-20 goals a season, but we look more of a team with Pugh on the left flank and he looks exactly what we've been missing. We've more balance across the middle, he's very much a team player, we're as max was greedy and frustrating at times, and I think it's really gotta go down as a very shrewd move by SG and all credit to him.
Was gutted when we sold pugh first time round and thought he should have been retained!

Maybe forced cas, but graysons shown before he won't sell if he doesn't want to. We defo look more of a team right now, and I think id take that over having a team of big I am's everyday of the week. Here's hoping for a successful season!

Very different players. Difficult to compare as they both bring different qualities to the table.

Pugh has done well.

Too early to make a proper assessment of how losing Gradel has affected the team.

From the last 3 games though, Pugh does look to have given balance to the midfield.

I find it very difficult to compare the two players.

However, I am more supportive of a player that comes to Leeds to benefit his career and the team ethic than one who was generally rather selfish and who departed for an inferior league because it pays better.

Gradel is history, Pugh is now and the future.

Doesn't really matter which one is better.

When we signed Pugh I was shocked and pessimistic, I thought he'd be useless and it was a terrible move by Grayson

But it's times like this you really hope you're wrong, and I was

Gradel is the bigger threat and the better player, but Pugh is more defensive minded, allowing White who is equally as fast as Gradel to get forward, and I love them combination of them 2 on the left

We look very good with Pugh in the team and I'd be happy to sign him permanently in january

We had a player that terrorised other teams defences, but terrorised his boss wondering what the card was going to be!..

We now have a midfield that our defence seems to be benefiting from!..

We had a few goals from Max, but nothing saying we won't get anything out of Pugh!..

If the defence is stopping 40% more goals against, and Pugh is scoring 60% less, which is the better?..

not entirely sure how you can say Grayson does not sell if he doesn't want to MW, suppose you are referring to the Beckford situation, didn't sell Beckford because it made no sense to do so and nobody came in with a good enough offer to tempt Bates. Other than that they sell at every opportunity.

Do you never get a feeling that that part of the game is Bates, if he wants to bank in then he will, Grayson might not be happy but he is the sort that the right offer will get their player!..

Mind you, their all the same when the price is right!..

With Beckford it was what was worth more, the money on the table, or promotion!..

They're both as good in different ways.
