Kayal To Sign Contract Extention

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/teams/celtic/8830618/Neil-Lennon-encouraged-as-Beram-Kayal-prepares-to-sign-on-for-four-more-years-at-Celtic.html?

So it's all true, Kayal is unhappy and is working his ticket. He played for Israel days after missing the Hearts game and Lennon has lost the dressing room.

McIlvick I take your point,a point well made, but it's not dying out just now,it's re-igniting.The West of Scotland has been as hostile in the last year as I can remember. We have to separate ourselves from ideologies because they do not apply to all our fans.Celtic FOOTBALL Club does. It's seems to me that when the team are doing well all 'the crap' takes a back seat and when not....Celtic are NOT an ideology,a way of life,a cause they are football club open to all

----------------

MSM, I see Celtic as a football club open to all as you put it. However Celtic also has an identity and a world view that transcends the game of football itself. They are not unique as a football club in that sense, there are other clubs that have a similar profile. Barcelona, Athletic Bilbao are 2 that spring to mind.

McIlvick our 'world view' is not all dewy eyed and rose tinted and may well lead to our ultimate demise. You sound like ma da,and i'm not trying to be condascending,we need to ditch this stuff,if not heart,in public..

There's nothing rose tinted or dewy eyed about it, it's part of what makes up the fabric of Celtic FC. The sectarian stuff - like 'Ra chanting - will be completely gone in a couple of years, mainly because it will just become outdated.

MSM if you don't want your son coming in spouting empty headed slogans then you should engage with him yourself. If you don'y take it on yourself to give him some kind of world view then someone will. It might be the daft parents you alluded to, it might be a religion or it might be the government via the media, but he will get one from somewhere.

"A World view that transcends the game of football"

Delusional, arrogant, laughable, pitiful and utterly utterly ridiculous. The United Nation's Security Council is missing a permanent member state !

Hmmmm. You could be onto to something there smellyglove.

Celtic FC could seek dominion status, seeing as they already have a well cultivated world view on matters football and outwith football. Parkhead could be like "The Vatican"
