Newcastle are looking to bring in Jelavic from Rangers and Hooper from Celtic in January or in the summer. Alan Pardew is looking to strengthen in the forward area and sees them as an ideal pairing. Also the news that Hooper is not happy at Celtic and has told his agent that he see's his future away from Scotland and Jelavic who wants to play in a bigger and better league has given Pardew hope of landing the pair.

Aye, Pardrew can whistle he can't afford Hooper. We already knocked back a 29m bid in August. It was from an un-named source though, know what am saying U6820 ??
