Well then? It seems to me that there is nowhere for a civilised drink on this board, therefore I have decided to have a crack. We don't want some old man's pub where the likes of Izzy, Dry and the colonel hang around smoking rollies, with their mongrels on bits of washing line, so I'm opening a proper 1980's Wine Bar. Dress code will be smart casual, I've had my mullet hi-lighted and I've got my pastel espadrilles on. Tonight's opening special event will be “le Beaujolais noveau est arrive". The bar staff will be those classy birds out of the Human League rather than rodents and YES, that is Keith Edwards's Ford Escort Ghia in the car park!

I never really got into the Owls' forums, mainly because I found it all consuming - all the griping about the bad times, so I stayed here and became 'friend' to everyone It keeps me sane, hearing the point of view of other teams' supporters.

Sorry to hear about your Parkinsons - my Mum had it for many years and it gently took her in April of last year. We are all Wednesday in our family and it was something she never let go of. WAWAW
