News International took a well deserved battering. Mackenzie has been shown to be the horrible person he is. He should never work in the media again.

Wasnt just the Sun,though they were the main instigators of the lies,other were involved too.
Havnt bought a national paper since,never ever will.

They were all misled by the police, however the Sun refused to retract their claims and apologise, whilst others did. They even went as far to say that what they reported was truth and there is nothing to apologise for.

I know, the star and mirror also printed lies, but at least used the word 'allegedly' followed by a swift withdrawal. The Sc*m called it...

Just want to add my piece to say i hope ALL the government papers about Hillsborough are released to the families involved and to us, the wider public.about the events of that horrific day concerning the actions of the Police and Stadium controllers and in my opinion, the later Government interferance with the inquiries reports.

though i would never expect any meaningful apology from the Sun and Kelvin Mackenzie nor the owners of the newspaper..
the truth is they lied and they will not admit to it.

Justice for the 96,
When we go to a football game the least we expect is to go home again afterwards..RIP.
