Best National Newspaper for RL coverage?

I've read on another forum that some people think that the Daily Star has very good Rugby League coverage. That of course is a sister newspaper to the Daily Express.

I have allways found the Express to be the best (been getting it for over 50 years) , by that I mean all sports not only Rugby League.

theowdun, I don't know about you or your papers but I can recall years ago you pick up the Monday morning paper and after reading an artcile on a particular game, you felt as if you were there yourself watching it, the articles were that bloody good.
Todays articles should be in the confidential section of the paper where the entire comment is on one player and his profile and then the score on the bottom.....cheers

The Metro is good for RL coverage and its free

Syd its good for you this site open 24/7 with no stupid time zones to get in the way,must make a refreshing change for you lad.

The time zones were a factor, but in saying that my sleep pattern leaves a bit to be desired, I'm usually up an about by 4a.m. but yes it is good to be able to get on at any time.........cheers

I much prefer to take my news & sport from a range of sources. (this also helps to avoid all the 'celeb' bllx)

The daily mirror has been rather good to rugby league over the last couple of years. As for the daily star, they managed a whole paragraph on rugby league today about justin morgan heading to Penrith for next year!
