Pure wingers

With Juan Mata finally solving our creativity problem it is becoming apparent that he is far too good to solely sit on the wing and hog it, but which players out there are avalible that do that?

Before he went to United i said Valencia would have been perfect for us on the right doing that same with Nani but for obvious reason's we have not got a hope in hell of getting either.

Robben's another one but as much as i would love it he won't come back, Damien Duff likewise but he is 33 now. De Bruyne we will hopefully get soon but he prefers the centre behind the forward's aswell.

I did want us to take a punt on N Zogbia in the summer but he isn't really cutting many treas at Villa.

IMO our next step would be to bring 2 'pure wingers' in who will go as far out as the corner flag to stretch defense's and give Mata a free role in the centre and even more room than he is getting now.

Who (that we could realisticly get) is there out there that plays that role?

Pablo Hernandez is one. Michel Bastos is another. William and MIlos Krasic also play this position quite effectively for their teams. They'll probably be out of our price range though.

Just remembered Jesus Navas, Diego Capel, Balasz Dzudzsak, Ahmed Musa, Diego Perotti, Pedro Leon(who Ancelotti wanted), Jose Callejon, Jonathan Biabany and so many others. Don't think we need these all out right wingers though. I'll be happy with a Thomas Mueller type who can supply from out wide and mix it with quality passing in the middle. Marko Marin can also do this.

You seriously do not want Biabiany. The guy is basically a French Walcott but without the (semi) decent finishing ability. Decision making is terrible.

Navas gets homesick

I think we were strongly linked with him under Big Phil but that was a barrier apparently

The primary quality should be 'are they technically good footballers'

Then narrow down the list to players who can play wide and go from there

So my point is don't go for someone to just run down the touchline all game

I think Navas might have overcome some of his homesickness problems? Pretty sure he has played a few away matches for Spain.

Whether or not he would be able to cope with spending large amounts of time away from Seville is another question altogether.

I'd like us to look at Tarrabt at QPR

He's wasted there

Tarrabt is definately sulking at qpr at the moment. he looks a bit unfit aswell. But wouldnt mind bringing him in. He reminds me of quareshma

Adam Johnson? Not looking too happy at City, and AVB enquired about him last summer. So certainly realistic.
Could switch wings with Studge...Robben and Duff stylee
