It could have been more first half. We held on toward the end but I think that seemed to be because of the changes in personell. Liverpool had stronger players at the end while we seemed to be getting the younger guys on.

Th best thing about it there was only 4 first team outfield starters in the game (same for them) and at the end it was our C team against pretty much their A team. Strength in depth is showing now.

We have a far bigger and better squad than given credit for

Jordan McMillan, Ross Perry, Thomas Kind Bendiksen, Rhys McCabe and John Fleck all looked excellent when they came onto the pitch and easily good enough for the SPL not to mention Kane Hemmings and Darren Cole coming back from injury.

Matt McKay was Man Of The Match and looks a real find the midfield dominated Liverpool and Kerkar actually looked semi decent aswell.
