Man city - not built for the CL

After three substandard performances now, I think enough football has been played to conclude that money city are not built for the CL.

You may feel this is a bit rich coming from a Spurs fan, and you may think its jealousy, but I couldn’t care less to be honest.

Give us 300mill to spend and I bet you we challenge at the top of the premier league too…

The problem for city is that, some clubs just don’t belong in Europe, and city is one.

You see, whilst city were bumbling about in division 2 recently, Spurs, (although by most accounts including my own) a fairly poor side, were still playing quite regular European football. We have been throughout our history.

Even last year, our first CL outing, we simply looked as though we belonged at Europes top table.

So what is money city’s excuse? Let me guess, they don’t have a big enough squad, they lack experience.

Nonsense, the simple reason is that man city don’t, never have, and never will, be a club that has TRUE European pedigree.

They were outplayed last night by a mid table Spanish outfit, at home, and lucky to come away with the win. Fair play for winning when not playing well, I suppose, but the fact that the crowd had the audacity to get on the players backs at 1-1 despite the league form made me laugh. That and throwing things at Villarreal players. money city just oooooooze class dont they?!!

Anyway, enough of that. See you in the Europa league money city, which to be honest, is still punching far above your weight.

The latest technology IS an automatic burger flipper. They slip you a minimum wage and off you go! How much more automatic would you want it to be?

"its ok i dont want your stolen money. money has a paper trail you know "

Are you aware that conceding the argument constitutes a loss? That's okay, I fully understand. I can't be bothered scanning all the certifications to prove a point anyway. Just send me the money and we'll speak no more about it.

Difference between Citizens & Spurs are very simple

Citizens:
1. Are challenging on ALL fronts
2. Playing 2 games every week its not easy
3. CL is very different to PL.(look at Inter from 07-09 champions of Serie A - terrible in CL - 2010 won it)
4. Playing with pressure & everything to lose.

Spurs:
1. Spurs played in the 3rd round qualifiers to play CL football.Which gave them confidence.
2. Spurs do NOT play on all fronts with 100% compared to Citizens
3. Spurs rotated their squad & majority of their players under-performed in the PL before & after the midweek CL fixtures.
4. CL exploits cost them dearly in the PL!
5.Played without fear & nothing to lose & everything to gain.

What im trying to say is Citizens are trying to win everything. That is NOT easy. Only Man U can play 2 games every week & win becos they have the experience & the know-how to master it!

Spurs on the other hand played without fear with nothing to lose & everything to gain.

& Finally - its better to win the CL by being champions of ur own country & NOT say 5th & approx 25 points off the pace! (From No.1)

Remember Spurs beat Wigan 9-1.
Last season Spurs played aa CL match in midweek (cant remember who)
Then came the PL match vs Wigan at th weekend - Spurs lost 1-0 & at home.

When ou play with nothing to lose mentality - you play without fear.
When you play with everything to lose - you play with pressure.

Psychologically which is better?

I have MORE respect for Citizens, Man U & Chelsea than i do for Spurs, L'Pool & Arsenal!

Why?

Citizens, Man U & Chelsea - Strive to win EVERYTHING!
Spurs, L'Pool & Arsenal - Strive to win or do well in ONE thing & NOT everything!

Even Sir Alex will tell you PL is MORE important than a CL - why? - League is a marathon. CL is a KO cup where ur success are 50% luck!

Summary:
Spurs played better in CL than in PL.
Citizens play better in PL than CL!
