Looks like Evra's somewhat petulant attempt to cover up for his own on-the-field inadequacies is about to consigned to the waste bin.

If this is the case, whether the FA pursue a case against him for raising the issue in the first place or not, his well-earned reputation of being a sad and pointless little twit will only be reinforced. We all remember his antics during the last World Cup.
He'll defend him to the hilt of course but Ferguson cannot fail to be totally embarrassed by this whole issue.
Good.
The truth will always come out...

I havnt commented on here in a while but i felt compellef to applaud bobs argument. Well thought out and clearly an argument put together by someone with a mental capacity higher than an 8 year old.
Its great to read someone with a bit of common sense, bot just pathetic childish, blinkered specks on.

Onto Mellor
Nice one mate
Don't worry though, the United 'day shift' will be on here in a few hours trying to rip my common sense comments apart!
They will say that I am always having a dig at United (which I do ), and then use this as a way of dismissing what I have posted!
One or two of them will add that I am a Liverpool fan and therefore my comments are invalid because I must be defending Suarez blindly, that happens all the time...it's funny to see!
Happens all the time,

The racism card is thrown around all too easily thesedays by some people. One of my pupils even accused me of it the other day because I asked him to open his book and start his work! And hadn't made my way around to the white boy who had walked in late to do the same...
For various other things as well such as lying about why he couldn't turn up to my detentions, he has one hour with me tonight on the eve of half term.
Back on topic - as much as Suarez annoys me, you can't just go around flinging such serious accusations around and tarnishing someone's reputation. It's not like he needs much help right now after the WC fiasco!

You are using every negative possible to condemn him imo, first his gamesmanship should be taken into account...now the fact that he does charitable work for black kids should be ignored because a murderer appealed on TV a few years ago
======================================
Again I will say, I have not said Suarez is a racist, at what point have I condemned him?
You're just twisting things, like the point over his work with black kids, I never said ignore it! Your saying because of his work with the black kids, it doesn't sound like he is a racist, I agreed, the point I was making over the Tv appeals, was that people can say and do the right things, but they can also be guilty of commiting the crime, that in no way was saying ignore his work.
His gamesmanship and biting, again doesn't make him a racist, but if a guy is willing to bite a fellow pro, well? say no more!!
I think Onto Mellor summed your argument up very well.
Well thought out and clearly an argument put together by someone with a mental capacity higher than an 8 year old.
Its great to read someone with a bit of common sense, but just pathetic childish, blinkered specks on.
And that was shown in your pathetic comment, just because I dislike United does not make Suarez a racist
Again before I finish I'm NOT saying that Suarez said anything of a racist nature to Evra.

There's one thing that puzzles me about this whole sorry incident. Evra was booked for gobbing off to the ref after Suarez allegedly said what he said (10 times) and he said nothing. Giggs walked by Evra and had a word with him, and he said nothing.
Why, if Evra was so incensed by what was said, did he not mention anything on these occasions?

Yes mate, I find it all very strange myself, thats why I'm not saying Suarez did abuse Evra, is it possible he did say something without anyone hearing him, yes, is it possible Evra is lying, yes.
And I can't see the FA doing anything about it as there is no solid proof either way.

I never said you were fella. I was just putting my two pence worth in. I hope that either scenario is proven by The F.A. as ambiguity just means there will always be a 'no smoke without fire' attitude towards Suarez, and a 'he's played the race card' one about Evra.

I couldn't agree more mate, your right about what people will say about Suarez and we will have those saying Evra is a liar.
At the end of the day football will be the loser

I agree that football is the loser...and also any further examples of racism in the game will be affected by this to the detriment of black players imo.
For what it's worth, I now reckon that Evra misheard or misinterpreted something that Suarez has said as racist, and that to make it seem worse than it was he has exaggerated his version of the event, i.e. 10 times etc.
A simple case of a misunderstanding and a bit of exaggeration...
