Just wanted to wander on over and congratulate blue noses for a cracking result tonight, not just the result but amazing support taken over there, espn were saying 8k? Is that true??!!
been watching you boys with interest in europe wondering how you'd get on and it's been really good, credit to England and the Championship.
It's nice to see english teams taking UEFA/Europa league seriously for a change!
Hat's off!!

Thanks Chadsun. I'm just coming back down to earth. Amazing night.
The local Birmingham Mail has been saying 10,000+ all week.
The channel I watched said 5.5 thousand in the ground and another 5000 in the town centre without tickets.

Like I said, extremely impressive following, not just the team taking it seriously but the fans aswell with the following.
Makes nice change after watching 'that other team' in brum getting knocked out to austrians in front on 1 man and his dog acouple of years ago thinking they should be watching champs league instead!

I've just heard the boys at camp nou are hoping they dont get knocked out of the champions league. A spokesman for barca said "we hope we don't have to face our fiercest english rivals Birmingham, like we did in the 60's".

Apparently ibanez was concussed but now given a clean bill of health. Hughton said it was a 'double' victory. The win and Pablo being given the all clear. A memorable night. And who says we can't get through the group stages??? KRO

If we get through this stage, we'll be joined by 8, 3rd place teams from the champions league, to make up the last 32. I know it's only a dream, but imagine playing the likes of Bayern Munich or AC milan at St Andrews in the next round? I can dream can't I? Whoever we get, it's gonna be fantastic!

Cheers Chadson.
Good to hear from neutrals/competitors about the performance.
I can't imagine many from the PL being as supportive.

I see on the Blues' official site CH said that when Pablo woke up he thought he had scored the winning goal. Very funny, but delighted he is OK.
