Hows he doing

You'll not get much of a response on here I'm afraid, all the City fans reside on not606, but as I happen to pop in, I might as well respond.
Barmby has been injured for the past few weeks, so hasn't featured and he only really makes ten minute cameo's at the end of games anyway, but he's still a class act.
He came on against Cardiff a few weeks ago and won us the game, he's still a great player to have on the bench, but I suspect this will be his last season as a player.
He's now our youth team coach.

Eh up lambretta, what do you think of Barnby's appointment as caretaker? Think he'll get the job full-time?

Just popped in again!
Nick was initially offered the job permanently, but turned it down, as he wanted to see how things went with his first ever management job as a caretaker.
It's going very well and I can see no reason why he won't be appointed full-time before the end of the season, there isn't a single City fan that's not happy with this appointment.

Yes but are they happy for sentimental reasons or because he has real managerial skill?

He's won 4 of the 6 games he's been in charge, he's made us a free flowing attacking team and we're playing the best football I've ever seen from a City team, so I'd definitely say there was no sentiment involved.
It's yet to be seen how he does when he actually has to sign players, but when it comes to picking the team, making substitutions and deciding how we play, he's been brilliant.

Well good luck to you and hopefully we'll see you next season.
