This article further convinces me that Jordan Henderson will make it at Liverpool and will be a key player for us in 2-3 years time.
Now I know his first few performances weren't up to standard, but you have to compensate for the fact that this move and the transfer fee would put a lot of pressure on the lad. In the past couple of games he has been placed on the bench, but I thought he played well when he came on last Saturday, playing in a more central role.
I do believe that the departure of Raul Meireles will only serve to aid his development, and as shown by the article above he has a desire to improve areas of his game that are not his strongest.
He needs time, but it seems Kenny is prepared to give him that, while I only wish other players would follow his apparent desire to improve.
In my opinion, the transfer fee will become irrelevant over the course of the next few seasons as Henderson continues to improve.
Thoughts?

Shame Carroll doesnt have his attitude.
---------------
Carroll needs service, which I think he'll get once the new boys Henderson, Downing and Adam gel with Gerrard, Suarez and Kuyt. Not to mention Maxi and Bellamy...ok I just did!

I was at the wolves game, first game I got to this season and Henderson both impressed and frustrated me throughout. I admire his work ethic he covers alot if ground but he us still raw and tends to rush it when he could be a little more patient. One thing I noticed though is if he makes an error he does all he can to make up for it can't ask more then that from a young fella learning his trade.
It's great that Kenny has so much faith in him and playing so much will vastly improve his game, he could have been the toast if the town had one of the chances gone in v united.

Henderson has excellent technique which is something fans in England have been crying about for sometime now. Now finally a player comes through with great technique and potential and he gets slated. I just don't understand it. Henderson will be a big player for us and for England. A great signing in my opinion.

The same 'Mc eachran' who has played how many games for Chelsea?
But you are entitled to your opinion. I think Cleverley is nowhere near as good as you claim. That's mine.

Henderson is twice the player pf Cleverley already. Smalling and Jones are defenders. Mceachran has a long way to go before he is mentioned in the same breath as Henderson. Wilshire has looked very good so far and he and Henderson could be England's future in the centre.

Hippo - Cleverley and some Chelsea kid who is the most over hyped footballer since the iPhone (It can do anything according to members of the 'i' club so why not football), you are kidding right? Smalling will be no more than a squad player (the new Wes Brown) Jones looks fantastic, Wilshire although has a fantastic talent, he has a s c r e w loose and will need to fix that if he is to live up to his potential.
Again, please tell me you were joking about Cleverley and the Chelsea kid?
