I really can't see Lennon starting so Luka there for an hour so then sub VDV for JD, bring Lennon on and move Modric inside to take the place of Sandro (or less likely) Parker.
Harry will get more out of Modric at RM than VDV and I can't see him starting without both VDV or Modric in the side if he plays both Sandro and Parker in the middle.

playing modric out on the right is horrible to watch and i hope harry just plays his best players in their best positions.

Chronic - Normally I'd agree whileheartedly but I can see the attraction to Harry in playing Sandro and Parker in the middle for solidity and expecting some magic from others: Bale and Luka on the wings, VDV in the whole and Adebayor up top.
I'm not saying he SHOULD play it that way or that he will for the whole match but I can see it starting out that way with the players we have available,

i agree i am up for two dms as i think our makeshift cb pairing will need cover. however dont play modric on the right, play him as part of a cm 3.

How about the old Chelsea 4-5-1?
Sandro in the DM role, Modric and Parker as CM, Bale LAM and VDV RAM.

I wld line up like this.....
walker KABOOM bass
modders 60's BEAST
VDV ADE....
don't really like modders out wide, but i guess its upto the players around him to get him in the game, and as above....
you'll get far more out of him out wide than from VDV.
