It would be a travesty if we lost Rhodes to England but the signs look good just now. He's made comments saying its Scotland or nothing which is good news.

According to the BBC gossip, Manchester United are looking at him.

There was someone on here on another thread (somewhere) saying that Celtic should sign him. I don't think that'll be happening now!

According to the BBC Man Utd sent new scout Paul Scholes to watch Rhodes with an interest in signing him.

The goal record he's got this season for a young lad is sensational.

The boy is shiiiiitt hot, no way he will be coming to the SPL and Huddersfield will want £10m if Southampton got £15m for Chamberlain.

Levein must definetley get him capped aginst Cyprus.

The thing is he could get capped against Cyprus and still go and play for someone else - it's only competitive games that tie you to a country.

Although if he doesn't get on against Cyprus then Levein should get the boot immediately because he'll have lost the plot!

Not likely though. If he gets capped he's pretty much saying that's him in.

Looks like a good prospect and unlike most of the 'English guys' he has actually spent time living and growing up in Scotland.

English scouts have asked him to hold out for England and he appears to still be interested in Scotland so fair play to the lad, if we're his number 1 choice then I'm fully behind him getting capped.
