So far the following clubs are all reportedly interested in signing young ROI striker Shane Long- Celtic,Liverpool,Wolves and Bayern Munich.
Which of these clubs should Long sign for. Liverpool or Bayern Munich- where he would not be garaunteed automatic Football or Celtic or Wolves - where he would probably have no problems holding his place.
One thing is for sure he is really developing into an exciting player and will prove to be a vital player for us over the coming years.

If he does go to Celtic i would presume he will take Stokes place in the side. Shay Given is also interested in joining Celtic.

I don't beleive the Bayern story at all. It was in the Sunday World so that says it all really. If it was true though I think it would be a great move for him. I think Irish players should broaden their horizons and not only limit themselves to England or Scotland.
I don't think he'd get much first team football at Liverpool, he's too good for the SPL. If a club like Everton came in for him, that would be ideal.

Mr Robbie 51......
Yeah Stokes is meant to be going to Norwich.Good his attitude is terrible.
A would love us to get Shay, but he's far too good for the SPL. A rate him that highly I'm shocked united or Arsenal aint enquired about him.

Regarding Shay Given, i think Man City are being greedy. They know he's too good for them to sell on to one of their rivals.
If they did give him permission to leave i would imagine it would be to another club outside the English Premiership i.e Celtic

Don't mind him Charlie. He's the resident simpleton poster on here. We only entertain him because we feel sorry for him.
With all the band practice he will need to be doing over the next few weeks in preperation for the "Marching Season" we probably won't be hearing from his as much. Busy shining up his bowler hat etc...
