It seems to me so strange, that a week ago Chelsea supporters were playing judge jury and executioner when Luis Suarez was accused of racism. Now they give full support to JT who faces similar accusations. Not to mention AVB after his "People who represent this country should have better and fuller support." comment.
I think that tells you a lot about the man that he seems to think being England captain is enough to clear you of any crime.
Even more strange is they seem to be so insecure that they are complaining about a referee who made accurate decisions. A two footed challenge is undoubtedly a red and so is a last man tackle to deny a clear goal scoring opportunity.
Yet due to the deep, underlying insecurities, they would have you believe that the entire media is against them. Rather than their players may have just acted like thugs.
Does anyone understand this?

He says: “If I name the player who came out with the most racist abuse I’ve ever heard on a football field, no one would believe it. I guarantee you’d be astonished.

If it is true, the way this is worded, whether it was the work of Rio or a ghost writer is just plain pathetic. It's using the shock value of racism to sell the story, rather than make any attempt to purge the game. Typical trick of the dirty tabloids.

To be fair to Rio he does say that he was only young and if it happened now he would report it. He also says he can't tell now for legal reasons.

Stanylst seems to have a problem with Chelsea fans.

OP you seem somewhat suprised at this... if you ever check out the Chelsea board you should now it is always the refs fault (or the medias) it is part of a conspiracy against them... ask Bubbles.

What about the way you lot have reacted the last 2 season's after the Bridge match or Drogba's offside goal (ofcourse Macheda's double slamdunk 2 minutes later never happened)

We get upset by referee mistakes but accept when the ref made the right decision and we were beaten by the better team

So do we, but we haven't been comprehensively or deserverdly beaten this season.
When we are (IE Sunderland last season, you lot away in 08/09, Arsenal last season, Spurs 09/10) we hold our hands up quicker than katie Price opens her legs.

TBH I was more messing with you with my last comment (hence the wink)
I think the media just likes sticking the boot into any big team not playing well, it feels to me like there is a slight favouritism to different clubs but alot of the media bias people talk of is very over exagerrated...
Lastly TBH I don't think any refs intentionally make bad calls to favour anyone, they can get pressured they can make mistakes and they can try and make decisions when they don't now exactly what happened. That goes for all of them even Atkinson...

There's not really any favouritism. The media are vultures so they'll pick up on a story whichever team it involves. . When Rafa was our manager we got so much rubbish written about us. Mainly about him but it reflects on the clubs. Now Wenger's getting it because Arsenal had a bad start. Ancellotti got it last year because Chelsea didn't win anything and so on and so forth.
If there is any favouritism for a particular manager then it is Harry Redknapp and that's only because he has an opinion on everything, does lots of TV and radio and says triffic a lot. The media love that and so have nothing bad to say of him.
