Simon Grayson - Leicester Legend?!

I think Larry may be getting ahead of himself a bit there. Respected? Yes. Liked? Most definitely. Legend? Not in my book.

A good, solid pro but legends are probably reserved for the Lineker's, Worthington's and Weller's of the past. And of course Youngy and the Birch !!!

And Parker's clearance off the line toward the end. His baby was on life support that night as well if I remember rightly. Now there is a player who can call himself a legend.

What a clearance - heart in mouth stuff. Dont recall the baby bit but if true then Parker is a more of a legend - statistically our worst ever manager ( 6-0 defeat to leeds after Taylor left) but we'll forgive for that -

Grayson was average at best.

Apparently the comments were taken out of context by the Journo. He asked what odds he was on, and when told, he said his odds should have been shorter. When told they were with another bookies, he said "You see? I was a legend down there!".

But no, Grayson wasn't a legend in his own right, but part of LCFC when things were awesome, so will always be connected with this era.

Gordon Banks, Graham Cross, Peter Shilton, Derek Dougan, Jackie Sinclair, David Gibson, Howard Riley blah...blah...they are LEGENDS. Simon Grayson doesn't fall into this category.
