Again we had

MEN vs boys. Though the only difference is that the MEN were us. Look at the average of the best spinner in the world..... ( 96 with just 2 wickets and with almost 5.5 runs given an over.) very bad knowing how ashwin and jadeja were extracting spin from the pitch. Anyways get ready to face Pakistan and srilanka as it will not get easier.

No because England are a very good test team..

I cannot see on recent form England's batsmen flopping twice in one game, which would be necessary for Pakistan to win a game.
The question is, can England's bowlers take 20 wickets in those conditions? I believe they will in at least one game.

The best spinner in the world had numerous leg before appeals turned down. and a good few of them were plumb..

We have to wait till the series to see what happens, the best of the teams cannot take Pakistan easy because of their unpredictable nature, and we Pakistani fans cannot afford bragging for the same reason. I am hoping it should be a good contest, and gets played in some fine spirit.

know it... swann has been a great bowler because he has taken wickets on pitches of england knowing that it doesnt help too much. But when he comes in the subcontinent his flavour changes and is no more the bowler he is. He certainly wasnt effective in india either in the wc or now. I mean you cant give the excuse that in flat tracks the batsman can play better cricket cause there have been spinners that have troubled indian batsman when batting like ajmal

To be honest,Swann is a very ordinary bowler on unhelpful pitches.

Yeah but then again who in the world is any good on unhelpful pitches? swann is the best spinner currently in the world..

Ajmal's action is very questionable to say the least.. But we aint going down that line..
Give Swann a 4th or 5th day pitch in India he will have alot of success.. Oh and when a batsman is lbw. he should be given out..

The relationship that exists between bowler and batsman in a test match is completely different to that of an ODI.
ODI games are an artificial concoction with fielding restrictions, a limit on how many overs each bowler can bowl and a white ball.
In a five day test these restrictions don't exist and spin bowlers in particular benefit from bowling for longer periods.
Judging a spin bowler on ODI performances simply is impossible.
Swann has shown both in SA and Australia that he can take important wickets on less than helpful conditions.

They are just bitter because Swann is the best. end of
