At Lunch Pak are 92-2 with both openers gone. Still trailing by 144 runs. Wicket seems to have a bit of life in it for the pace bowlers so Pak will need to bat very well to get a big lead. Big partnership needed to take game away from Sri Lanka. Game on.

Dilshan to Misbah-ul-Haq, 3 runs, Misbah is taking chances now, now he plays the reverse sweep against the turn and gets it towards third man for three
I have always failed to understand what urges him to play those experimental shorts, most of the times they gain him a single or two which are hardly worth taking risks..

Winnings I think Misbah finds it hard to rotate strike so thats why he takes risks. You can't argue with his record and now that he has got his eye in he is being more positive.

you are right kash, its not misbah's fault if i didnt have a proper sleep last night
Pakistan is again in a commanding position here, one opportunity lost is enough per series.

First test centuary for Azhar Ali. Cricinfo are calling him the Baby Wall. Huge compliment.

Another poor decision by Hill:
97.5
Dilshan to Azhar Ali, OUT, Dilshan strikes again, just as the day is about to end, Azhar went down to sweep a tossed up full delivery that turned in to strike him on the pad, would have gone on to hit middle and leg but did that hit him outside the line of off? It did strike him in line but replays show there was some bat on that.

Srilanka's tail scored atleast 50-60 runs to my liking.Despite that, Pakistan will be in driving seat if we can get close to 400 or more.
