I have read how some fans of other clubs accuse city of inflating players wages. Whether they are serious or not I don't know. But looking at the footballing landscape today, I can only see one consistency. Clubs pay players according to the players worth. The 5 highest paid players in football today are in La Liga. Ronaldo £10m, Messi £9m, Xavi & Iniesta £7m. No city player earns that much. Also, marketing principle of demand and supply drives prices either up or down. Good players win you titles and good players cost money. At the end of the day, what a club decides to pay will be influenced by the ambition of that club. Remember, if you pay peanuts, ........

Players wages - the facts

If tis Ensil, my issue is specifically on the not606 front (the Admins can deal with all matters) .
You cannot have it both ways.
Don't proclaim not606 is effluent free, when you're dumping onto JA606 the effluent that should really be on not606.

Is Jurgen Klindle still denying that he is in fact Ensil?

Don't now where this topic has gone now but I don't think even some of the most ardent City fans would deny they have inflated wages....

I do recall Admin 1 stating that after Ensil was banned he begged to be allowed back on, this was granted on the promise he would cease his linguistic pedantry, seems he can't keep his word. The link to that is one of the feedback pages, or I guess some body could just ask Admin 1, I’m sure he will have kept Ensils pleading E-mails.

Here the topic is who has started it?

Actually Mafiaboy who started it isn't the topic.. at least in the OP... though if you want an answer to that first you would have to define what an inflated wage was...
There are some who probably felt the first payed footballers were overpaid as they were just kicking a ball around and how can you get paid for that.. and so on to various wages caps being removed first £100 a week footballer first 1,000 a week footballer ect.
But the topic in the OP does seem to be in relation to City inflating wages...

When you look at some players like Johnson, Kompany, Kolrav and Silva they bought and their meaningful wages, i think City have a case in here that they haven't inflated the wages.

So if I understand your point correctly you are saying because they have a few players on appropriate or lower than their ability level wages it means that they cannot be inflating wages ?!

In general - 'NO'.
But every club has some players get paid over the odds.

So if I have say Rooney and Silva on £100,000 a week (pretty good value for money these days) and then offering and purchasing players like Gary Cahill and Jonny Evans (and many others) on wages of about £200,000 a week.
In the above example I would not be inflating wages simply because I have 2 players on appropriate wages ?!?
